I am a fossil of memory — a record of what time, light, and place leave behind. Like stone holds the traces of what once lived, I hold the traces of a place that continues to exist in the mind. These impressions shape how we see, how we move, how we become. I am what remains when a place settles into memory and begins to live within us.”
